I am not a guide. Though I passed all the test and completed all the USCG requirements. I am a combat veteran that suffers from combat related PTSD and multiple other service related injuries and as such I have prescriptions to help me keep getting out of bed every day. Well the USCG declined my license because of this. So I decided they can suck it. I am going to do it for free. Fishing helps me greatly in managing my service related issues. So I want to help other disabled veterans do the same. And its free I fund this out of my own pocket. With that said no tournament fisherman. You need a guide and I recommend one listed below. I got my passion for fishing from a uncle who loved anything outdoors. I have been fishing Lake Guntersville for 40+ years. I left home served 9 years Active duty USAF. I worked F16s and was a E-3 Flight Engineer. After 7 deployments to Iraq I decided I needed to do a life change and returned to Huntsville AL and returned to my passion of the outdoors be it fishing or hunting. I have fished with some of the best guides on the lake a lot and will gladly recommend them if I can’t fit you in or suit your needs. I am a Lowrance user. The concept is the same with all of them but I understand Lowrance user interface. Therefore I don’t do electronics trips. I will show you what I’m doing for that given day and answer questions you might have. There is no I got my electronics dialed in. It changes every day based on water temps and clarity. I fish out of a 2023 Caymas CX19 with a Mercury 225 ProXS. Equipped with Lowrance HDS Live units to include Active Target. But it’s called fishing not catching for a reason. And the US Coast Guard merchant mariners license medical staff can suck my dick. Did I mention having PTSD. Rules of The Road
Be a disabled Veteran, I can only do trips when I am not trying to making a living. So it’s limited fishing days Combat Veterans are priority followed by disabled Veterans. I pay all these experiences out of my own pocket.
No Tournament fisherman period. Get a guide listed below they are great guides.
I will provide gear and tackle
You bring you own snacks and drinks, NO alcohol, NO tobacco, and NO vaping NO dirty shoes in my boat if your shoes are dirty you will have to take them off. I do this for free respect my boat
When I say we are done we are done. If you say you are done I will take you back to the dock.
Safety first do not be a jackass
No weapons in the boat. I will be armed and have spent over 20 years LEO. I will handle any situations that arise. I don’t need you doing anything foolish. So no smart ass comments to other boaters or fishermen, Its public waters.

Donations are not required but they help the next Veteran. I run this out of pocket and pay the expenses from my own paycheck so if I can’t afford to fish I don’t fish. Donations are in $5 increments you can give whatever works. Trip is free If I go you go.
