I am a lifelong outdoorsman. I gained my passion for the outdoors from my Uncle Rick who took the time to make sure I had the opportunity to enjoy life. I am not a tournament guy. I am here to share my knowledge of Lake Guntersville with you. I will take you where I would go that day. I have gain my experience through my own time and fishing with other Lake Guntersville legends over the last several years that I grew to call friends.

I fish from a Caymas CX19 with a Mercury 225 ProXS on the back. Electronics are Lowrance HDS live units with Active Target. I have a mixture of rods reels and bait brands. I have no sponsors and this is not how I pay my bills.

Your trip will include all required gear. I use auto inflatable vest if you want something different advise in advance.

You only need to acquire your Alabama state fishing license.

I will have water, gator-aid and maybe a diet soda or two. If you have a favorite drink bring it. If you need snacks bring them. If you wish to run back for a burger or snacks thats no problem GTO has easy access at Goose Pond and Waterfront locations.

I highly recommend sun screen, hats, and sunglasses. Protecting yourself from the sun and heat is important. I will cut a trip short if I feel a client is over doing it with the heat or sun for safety reasons.

Rules are simple it’s my boat and I am the Captain no tobacco, alcohol or nicotine products. If you need a smoke I will run to a dock no issues.
